About
Beth J. LaCivita's Guided Tour business began as Historic Florida Consulting, LLC in 2004, a company that offers historic preservation planning services, heritage education, public relations, and program and event planning for public and private entities. Increasingly, she was asked to lead tours. Now, Beth and her guides have conducted thousands of guided tours for people and groups from all over the world and the nation visiting the area.
Beth earned a Master of Arts in History, graduating with honors from Florida State University in 1986. She has over 30 years of professional experience in historical administration and education, tour planning, and historic preservation and over twenty years as an experienced small business owner and tour guide.
Beth is often quoted saying, “Tallahassee is my stage.” Her expertise, knowledge, and enthusiasm of local history and the area’s unique places and stories are always shared with her curious passengers.
